RJS Media Group
Founder Richard Scileppi began his career in the non-theatrical and educational divisions at Universal Pictures where he was hired to oversee film distribution to schools, universities, film societies and the armed forces. During his extensive career, he has held various roles that include licensing, production, archival research and marketing.
A classic film historian, Richard’s lifelong passion is locating and preserving lost or orphan films and putting them back in circulation for the public to enjoy. Most notably, he’s been instrumental in introducing lost films to new audiences via strategic distribution deals with digital streaming platforms, broadcast television networks, and home entertainment companies.
RJS Media Group digitally restores lost or forgotten films that have not been seen by the public in many years. This includes repackaging these films with newly recorded soundtracks or narration for DVD, streaming media, theatrical, and television broadcast.
Richard is also a key speaker at public libraries and independent cinemas where he shares his passion and expression on film restoration and orphan films.
